Today, I have more photographs for you. January has been full of adventures. Day trips to Seattle for beer and chocolate with friends, sunny New Years Day picnics, walks on the rocky beach at sunset, more than a few cakes, and heading to the mountains in search of snow, only to return home and be snowed in without electricity for the better part of a week,  I think February is at risk of being boring. However, I have gotten quite good at lighting my gas stove with a match and cooking by candle light. Later this week, a book recommendation and a cake recipe.
